What You Will Get To Do Lead and mentor a team of software engineers, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement Drive endâtoâend delivery of software solutions, ensuring alignment with business priorities and technical roadmaps Partner with Product Management, QA, and other stakeholders to define requirements, scope, and delivery timelines Oversee design, development, testing, and deployment of scalable, highâquality applications Ensure adherence to engineering best practices, including code quality, testing, CI/CD, and documentation Manage team capacity, workload distribution, and performance, including hiring and development of team members Identify and mitigate risks, proactively addressing technical and delivery challenges Contribute to architectural discussions and technical decisionâmaking Drive process improvements to enhance team efficiency, delivery speed, and product quality What You Will Bring Bachelorâs degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience) 5+ years of software development experience, with at least 1â2 years in a leadership or mentoring capacity Strong handsâon experience with modern programming languages (e.g., Java, C++, Python, or similar) Experience building and maintaining enterpriseâlevel, scalable applications Experience building and scaling technology platforms within the fund of hedge funds or alternative investments space strongly preferred Strong domain expertise in investment systems, risk platforms, data architecture, and workflow automation Proven track record of driving operational efficiency and platform scalability within investment management environments Professional credentials such as CFA, CAIA, or MBA are highly desirable Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies and modern software development practices Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure) and CI/CD pipelines preferred Strong understanding of system design, architecture, and software engineering principles Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills Proven ability to balance technical contributions with people leadership responsibilities Selfâstarter mindset with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fastâpaced environment Salary is determined by various factors including, but not limited to, relevant work experience, job related knowledge, skills, abilities, business needs, and geographic regions. NY: Salary range for the position: 130,000 USD to 150,000 USD.
