We have partnered with a Canadian-based marketing agency that is part of an independent Network of Agencies strategically located across the world to provide global reach and capabilities. They are looking for an Associate Commercial Manager to join their growing team. They are seeking a motivated and commercially minded Associate Commercial Manager to support the execution of regional business strategies that drive growth, enhance customer experience, and maximize profitability.
Reporting to the Regional Head of Commercial, this role collaborates with cross-functional teams to deliver commercial initiatives, optimize business performance, and contribute to the success of their brands. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a strong business mindset who enjoys working in a fast‑paced, collaborative environment where commercial strategy and customer experience intersect. Responsibilities Partner with the Regional Head of Commercial to understand: Target markets, Competitive landscape, Brand positioning, Product strategy, Market growth opportunities.
Assist in executing regional commercial strategies and initiatives. Deliver projects and assignments that address key business challenges across multiple departments. Support the management of regional revenue performance and operational costs.
Assist in developing business targets and reporting on performance against monthly, quarterly, and annual objectives. Facilitate effective communication between departments to ensure alignment with regional business goals. Support the development of regional priorities, business strategies, and operational requirements.
Monitor brand performance within the region and provide regular reporting against key performance indicators. Contribute to commercial strategies across multiple business functions, including marketing, operations, and customer service. Collaborate with cross‑functional leaders to ensure a consistent, high‑quality customer experience across all touchpoints.
Qualifications Experience in business management, account management, or a senior marketing and/or operations role. Post‑secondary education in Business, Marketing, Commerce, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Strong commercial awareness and business acumen.
Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem‑solving skills. Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to collaborate across teams. The ability to learn quickly, adapt to changing priorities, and perform well under pressure.
Confidence in making informed business decisions. Familiarity with online commerce and digital business drivers is considered an asset. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a growing agency based in Halifax.
