General Position Summary Assistant Store Managers are the heart and soul of the Lids brand, fostering passion for sporting and fashion goods, ensuring customer satisfaction, and leading the store to achieve key performance indicators. Principle Duties & Responsibilities Act as Manager on duty for scheduling issues, customer complaints, and other operational matters when Store Manager is absent. Manage associates through training programs, goal setting, and follow‐up.

Administer progressive discipline, including verbal and written warnings. Create a fun, inclusive work environment and communicate team goals. Maintain respectful and inclusive culture and adhere to Lids Brand Standards.

Schedule and staff the store, calling associates for unexpected peaks. Assist in recruiting, training, and enforcing store policies. Ensure compliance with inventory, funds, and property safeguards.

Perform other duties as assigned. Customer Experience Lead and execute sales strategy to achieve KPIs and sales targets. Resolve customer feedback and escalations promptly.

Promote membership programs and in‑store offers. Adhere to visual guidelines, merchandising, signage, and store cleanliness. Maintain professional appearance per Company Dress Code.

Operations Execute company‑level initiatives and promotions. Follow Policies & Procedures Manual for a safe work environment. Maintain POS systems and store technology through daily audits and maintenance.

Manage store facilities, supplies, and service requests. Handle cash operations, including till opening/closing and bank drops. Prepare for and support inventory audits.

Open and close the store following Operations P&P Manual. Product & Inventory Management Protect company assets following Lids Retail policies. Prepare work schedules within wage control guidelines.

Accurately manage inventory: receiving, transferring, price changes, and counts. Organize the backroom for maximum efficiency. Execute visual merchandising and product presentation strategies.

Maintain daily VM activities and make minor adjustments. Adjust pricing signage and promotional displays. Job Required Knowledge & Skills Demonstrated ability to generate sales and minimize loss.

Reports To Store Manager Pay Transparency Statement The hourly range listed is base pay only and may vary based on geographic region, experience, and other factors. We consider internal equity.
