Summary Assist the Store Manager in day-to-day operations and achieving critical metrics including safety, sales, parts & service growth, customer experience and overall profitability. Leading sales team to grow trailer & truck bed sales. Assist Store Manager in driving total revenue, trailer sales, service revenue, parts revenue & ancillary revenue. Special emphasis on trailer & truck bed sales. Customer Service Lead the team to foster an environment of accountability for customer service, owning customer review results.
Actively lead the store team by personally demonstrating customer focus, recommending problem resolution, and building customer brand loyalty through exemplary service with a smile. Control Expenses Reinforce company directives, policies and procedures for inventory control, supply purchasing, labor, and other controllable expenses. Safety & Security Lead by example and ensure a safe & secure store environment for all employees, customers, and visitors.
Monitor all safety equipment maintenance and see it is used as designed. Participate in training employees on safety policies and practices and enforces compliance. Inventory Maintain an ongoing analysis of trailer and truck bed inventory to assure the right levels are on order.
Provide communication, to the staff, regarding inventory flow to the location. Qualifications Required Education, Experience and Credentials High school diploma or equivalent (GED) Prior sales experience Valid Driver’s License Supervisory experience Preferred Education And Experience Associate’s degree 3-5 years supervisory experience in a retail or sales environment 3-5 years of sales experience Work Environment The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job. Tasks are regularly performed indoors and outdoors with exposure to adverse environmental conditions, such as dirt, dust, pollen, odors, wetness, humidity, rain, fumes, temperature and noise extremes, machinery, vibrations, electric currents, chemicals, and traffic hazards.
Physical Demands Talk and hear, read, write understand and communicate by telephone and in person using the English language. Must be able to read written instructions, parts lists, technical manuals, and diagrams. The employee is frequently required to use hands for typing, 10-key operation, telephone dialing.
Regular use of hands for feeling, grasping, or manipulating objects, tools, or controls. Occasional using hands and arms in handling, installing, positioning, and moving materials, and manipulating things. Specific vision abilities required for this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
The employee is regularly required to sit; stand, walk, occasionally required to climb or balance, and stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl, move over uneven surfaces. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 80 pounds. Regular operation of computers, cash register, telephone, and printer/copier/scanner/fax.
Regular operation of automobiles, tractors, forklifts, and other power equipment. Work Hours This is a full-time position. Work week is Monday through Saturday (except company holidays). 40 hours per week or more.
Travel Regular local travel by vehicle. Limited overnight travel by vehicle or airplane and occasional overnight stay may be required. #J-18808-Ljbffr
