Overview Envy Consulting Group is recruiting an Assistant Operations Manager for a growing food distribution and logistics organization located near the airport (Etobicoke, ON, On-Site). Responsibilities Support daily warehouse, inventory, logistics, procurement, and sales operations Coordinate receiving, storage, picking, packing, and dispatch activities Monitor inventory accuracy, stock rotation, and replenishment planning Assist with logistics scheduling and distribution coordination Support customer orders, operational follow-ups, and internal communication Identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency and cost control Assist with SOP implementation and operational compliance Oversee warehouse, facility, and company vehicle maintenance Lead monthly JHSC meetings and maintain health & safety documentation Develop knowledge of MTO, CFIA, and MOL regulations related to operations and distribution Qualifications Operations, warehouse, logistics, or distribution experience Solid organizational and leadership skills Comfortable working in a fast-paced operational environment Inventory and procurement coordination experience preferred Experience within food distribution, wholesale, or supply chain operations is an asset Strong communication and problem-solving abilities Willingness to occasionally support extended operational hours during peak periods Compensation & Benefits $70K–$90K salary depending on experience Medical, dental, and vision benefits after probation Paid vacation + sick days Company-paid certifications and professional development Exposure to all areas of operations leadership Long-term growth opportunity into a senior operations leadership role Additional Details Primarily Monday–Friday on-site role Occasional Saturday morning support during dispatch periods may be required Some extended hours during peak operational periods (Nov/Dec and inventory counts) #J-18808-Ljbffr
