It is served by 756 faculty members, with 121 women faculty, and about 150 visiting and part-time faculty, highly recognised globally for achievements in education and research. IITB DRF facilitates Institute's core mission and engages with our vibrant alumni community, corporations, and foundations with the goal of developing and sustaining long-term relationships. These groups are the key stakeholders in IIT Bombay's journey of excellence. We encourage the involvement and participation of these entities in the Institute's strategic initiatives.
These include setting up world class research and academics in emerging areas of science and technology, building world class infrastructure, improving faculty value proposition, strengthening the entrepreneurship ecosystem, and contributing to the society. IITB DRF assists fundraising endeavours by way of donor solicitations, managing donor programs, maintaining financial accounts and reporting details of all activities implemented with alumni donations. Job Purpose: Research, plan, write, and edit high-quality content that engages the target audience and aligns with organizational goals.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify content needs, develop creative solutions, and ensure all digital and print content remains accurate and up to date. Key Responsibilities: Curate fresh, relevant, and engaging content tailored to the target audience, while resurfacing existing content during relevant events or trends. Develop, write, and deliver persuasive copy for websites, email campaigns, marketing collateral, and program proposals.
Create original and compelling content through research, fact-checking, competitor analysis, and team brainstorming. Produce diverse content across multiple formats and subject areas. Collaborate with internal teams to understand requirements and design effective content strategies and posts.
Compensation in line with market trends; commensurate with professional experience & expertise Manage and oversee social media content, website updates, and visual assets including graphics and videos. Generate and develop new ideas, themes, and content series to drive audience engagement and traffic. Oversee end-to-end content production, including layout, artwork, and multimedia elements, ensuring accuracy, quality, and adherence to timelines and budgets..
Desired Experience/ competencies: Proven track record of excellent writing demonstrated through a professional portfolio. Strong command of the English language, including grammar, tone, idioms, and expressions. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate with clients, colleagues, and stakeholders. Capability to manage multiple projects with varying objectives simultaneously. Strong time management skills, including prioritization, scheduling, and adaptability.
