Job Description

Role : Shift Engineer Assembly Designation : Executive Manager Key Performance Indicators Productivity of Lines To make sure availability of breakdown free machines To achieve daily production targets as per previous operation plan Follow laid down QMS Achieve continual improvement with working on loss matrix and quality gaps Perform 5M change as per laid down system OEE Reliability FTR % Product Quality Execute machine performance & ensure all Poka-yoke functioning Working with other departments to control input quality in order to ensure output quality Ensure adherence to working SOP & WI Perform continuous improvement on basis of data analysis, audit feedbacks and other inputs for quality and rejection analysis Conduct disassembly Reduction projects (Assembly) Proper closure of PDI, Customer complaint & horizontal deployment (Assembly) Follow-up with Metallurgy Lab for daily results (Heat Treatment) PDI PPM (Assembly) Audit NC during external audit TPM Implement cell lines Step shifting plan Ensure adherence to 5S, and strengthening all TPM pillar Adherence to Step shifting Lines wise 5S score Customer delivery To follow and execute SKU โ€“ item code wise production plan Execute batch completion Line wise Reliability Cost Implement and reduce dis-assembly (assembly) Execute cost reduction projects Cost saving INR Disassembly % (Assembly) Safety & compliance management Follow safety system and norms & ensure zero accidents Zero accident Implementation of Digital Roadmap Initiate digital manufacturing projects Carry out improvement projects using Digital Data Adherence to Schedule MAJOR CHALLENGES (Mention key 2-3 complex issues/challenges faced on this job) Timely availability of material and manpower Unplanned changes Inconsistent material availability/ batch size KEY DECISIONS Mention the authority that the jobholder has; typical decisions made by this position Recommendations made by this position for decision by the superior Decision (self) Decision Recommended to Superiors for approval Machine correction Plan machines for preventive and predictive maintenance Minor planned activities New set up planning & Setter planning Manpower handling 5M change (Assembly) Furnace trouble shooting Tooling modification Gate Pass to operators INTERACTIONS (Mention the Interactions - internal and external in the job but do not include the interactions with boss or subordinates. (Mech/Prod/Mechatronic/ECE) Relevant and total years of Experience 7-11 years of experience Functional Skills Product, process and Machine knowledge Knowledge and understanding QMS, SPC knowledge Working knowledge of SAP Knowledge of Product, Grinding Process & Technology (Grinding) Basic knowledge of MS Excel and PowerPoint Behavioral Skills Good Communications Skills Influencing Team Building Collaboration skills Inter-personal skills
