Architectural Sales Representative

Job Description Job Description ARCHITECTURAL SALES REPRESENTATIVE Required Education: College technical or business degree preferred Qualifications: Minimum of 3 years’ experience in the AEC community, including Builders and Developers Demonstrated knowledge of architectural specs, design elements, and plans. Strong oral, written, and presentation communication skills Well-organized, self-motivated with excellent time management Demonstrated competence in Microsoft Office software Excellent driving record. Responsibilities Include: Promote the entire ORCO product line through plan specifications. Proactively engage architects, landscape architects, designers, engineers, spec writers, construction managers, Design Build GCs, home builders, and municipal / governmental agencies of the benefits of specifying ORCO products. Daily Project Tracking using Microsoft Dynamics CRM. Begin tracking in the earliest design stages to help provide more opportunities to favorably impact specs. Maintain accurate customer and contact information in Dynamics CRM. Provide timely internal project referrals to the ORCO contractor / dealer sales team. Become a trusted, knowledgeable resource for assigned accounts, completing all requests in a timely manner.

Schedule and conduct continuing education Lunch & Learns, which provides the opportunity to share info, develop relationships, and network. Active participation in industry organizations and functions which may include evening or weekend events.
