Applied AI Engineer / Forward-Deployed AI Engineer We’re looking for an Applied AI Engineer who can design, build, and deploy real-world AI solutions — not just prototypes. This role suits someone who enjoys solving complex business problems with modern AI, cloud, software engineering, and machine learning tools. You’ll work closely with technical and non-technical stakeholders to turn ideas into reliable, scalable, production-ready systems.

What you’ll be doing: Building AI-powered applications using LLMs, RAG, agents, and automation workflows Designing scalable solutions across cloud, data, and software platforms Developing production-grade Python services, APIs, and integrations Taking AI/ML solutions from discovery through to deployment Working with stakeholders to understand problems and shape practical technical solutions Supporting best practice across security, reliability, monitoring, and governance Helping teams move from AI experimentation to measurable business impact Skills we’re looking for: Strong experience in AI engineering, ML engineering, software engineering, platform engineering, or cloud delivery Hands-on experience with LLMs, RAG, agentic workflows, or applied GenAI solutions Strong Python experience, ideally with APIs, FastAPI, serverless, or event-driven systems Cloud experience across Azure, AWS, or GCP Understanding of MLOps, CI/CD, model deployment, monitoring, or production support Ability to communicate clearly with technical and business stakeholders A delivery-focused mindset and confidence working in fast-moving environments Useful experience: Vector databases, embeddings, retrieval pipelines, prompt engineering, or LLM frameworks Azure ML, AWS SageMaker, Vertex AI, Databricks, or similar platforms Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform, CI/CD, and cloud-native architecture React, Next.js, or front-end engineering exposure Experience working in consulting, SaaS, scale-up, enterprise, or client-facing environments The ideal person You’ll be someone who is excited by applied AI but understands the reality of making it work in production: performance, security, reliability, governance, user adoption, and commercial value.
