About the Role We are seeking an Application Support Engineer to help maintain, support, and enhance a growing suite of internal business applications and operational tools.

Our technology ecosystem includes custom-built applications developed using Next.js, React, PostgreSQL, and AWS , along with several third-party platforms such as Zoho, Jotform, and other SaaS applications . This role is ideal for someone who enjoys troubleshooting, working closely with business users, implementing application improvements, and ensuring critical business systems operate reliably. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting day-to-day operations while contributing to the ongoing improvement of our technology platforms.

Key Responsibilities · Provide day-to-day support for internal business applications and operational tools. · Investigate, troubleshoot, and resolve application issues reported by users. · Maintain and enhance internally developed applications built with Next.js, React, PostgreSQL, and AWS. · Implement change requests, feature enhancements, and process improvements based on business requirements. · Monitor application performance and proactively identify potential issues. · Manage integrations between internal applications and third-party platforms. · Support and administer external tools such as Zoho, Jotform, and other SaaS platforms. · Configure user accounts, permissions, workflows, forms, and system settings. · Create and maintain technical documentation, support procedures, knowledge base articles, and system configurations. · Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver effective solutions. · Coordinate with development teams when larger application changes, deployments, or enhancements are required. · Assist with User Acceptance Testing (UAT), system validation, and release activities. · Support workflow automation initiatives and business process improvements. · Ensure system reliability, performance, and operational continuity across all supported platforms. ✅ Required Skills & ExperienceMust Have · Strong understanding of: o Next.js o React o PostgreSQL · Experience troubleshooting and supporting web-based applications. · Good understanding of REST APIs and API integrations. · Ability to analyze issues, identify root causes, and implement solutions. · Experience working directly with end users and business teams. · Strong communication and problem-solving skills. · Ability to manage and support multiple software applications simultaneously. · Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and organizational skills. · Ability to work independently in a remote environment. · Comfortable working Toronto (EST) business hours from India. Nice to Have · Experience with AWS services and cloud-hosted applications. · Experience supporting SaaS platforms such as Zoho, Jotform, HubSpot, Salesforce, Monday.com, or similar business applications. · Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and deployment processes. · Basic knowledge of JavaScript and TypeScript. · Experience with application monitoring, logging, and performance management tools. · Understanding of authentication, permissions, user management, and security best practices. · Exposure to workflow automation platforms and no-code/low-code tools. · Experience with Agile methodologies and Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC). What Success Looks Like · Internal applications remain stable, secure, and well-maintained. · User issues are resolved promptly and effectively. · Business-requested enhancements are delivered efficiently and accurately. · Documentation remains current, organized, and useful. · Application downtime and operational disruptions are minimized. · Business teams can rely on systems and tools to perform their daily functions efficiently. · Opportunities for process improvement and automation are proactively identified and implemented.

Preferred Background · 2–5+ years of experience in Application Support, Technical Support, Systems Administration, CRM Administration, or a similar role. · Experience supporting both custom-built applications and third-party business platforms. · Experience working with business stakeholders to gather requirements and implement solutions. · Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with multiple concurrent priorities. · Strong customer-service mindset and commitment to operational excellence.
