Application Engineer

This is a technical role in support of the sales function. About the Role ARE YOU THE PERSON WE ARE LOOKING FOR?

Working in the Automation & Software Product team means providing technical knowledge, advice and pre-sales support to external customers for both new business and existing accounts. The candidate will have a broad interest in engineering and will also be prepared to embrace new and innovative products and talk about them to our customers. Responsibilities Technology within the remit will include: SCADA PLC’s Software HMI Networks Qualifications HNC/HND or higher in electrical engineering (or equivalent electrical engineering qualification) is required.

Required Skills Comprehensive knowledge of the application and selection of SCADA, PLC, HMI and Software, is required. The successful applicant will have the ability to provide effective technical solutions, solve problems and endeavour to provide continuous benefits for both the customer and the company.
