Application Analyst

Position: Intermediate Application Analyst Duration: 1 Year assignment (contract) Client Location: Toronto ( Onsite : 7.25 hours/day between 8:00 AM and 5:00 PM, Monday to Friday) Engagement Model: Professional Services Engagement – B2B (Incorporated Entities Only) Note on Assignment Type This position is provisionally Onsite , requiring 7.25 hours per calendar day between 8:00 AM and 5:00 PM , Monday to Friday (excluding breaks). Conditions may change based on organizational requirements and at the discretion of the Hiring Manager. About the Engagement Akkodis is seeking an experienced Intermediate Application Analyst to support application lifecycle activities, including testing, incident management, and enhancement delivery, within a structured enterprise environment.

The successful consultant will contribute to application support and development initiatives while ensuring operational stability, quality assurance, and alignment with Agile delivery practices. Scope Support application development, enhancements, and operational maintenance activities Plan, coordinate, and monitor User Acceptance Testing (UAT) cycles Manage and track incidents, changes, and service requests using ITSM tools Collaborate with cross-functional teams in an Agile/Scrum environment Perform troubleshooting, issue resolution, and root cause analysis. Assignment Deliverables Successful coordination and execution of UAT activities Timely resolution of incidents, service requests, and change tickets Accurate documentation of system updates, workflows, and operational processes Consistent support of sprint deliverables and operational SLAs.

Expertise Required Must Have: One of the following education/experience combinations: University degree in Information Technology (or related) + 3 years Application Analyst experience, OR 2-year diploma in Information Technology (or related) + 5 years’ experience, OR 1-year certificate in Information Technology (or related) + 6 years’ experience, OR 7 years Application Analyst experience Minimum 1-year experience in planning and monitoring User Acceptance Testing (UAT) Minimum 4 years’ experience with ServiceNow or similar ITSM tools (incident, change, service request management) Minimum 2 years’ experience working in an Agile/Scrum delivery environment Nice to Have: Exposure to Data and Cloud concepts Experience with data warehouse and reporting tools Familiarity with ITSM frameworks, ServiceNow, Jira, workflows, and service delivery documentation. Security Clearance Required. Important This is a business-to-business engagement.
