Job Title Analyst, Engineering Program Management Primary Location Dorval Plant 3 Organization Aerospace Canada Shift Day job Employee Status Regular Requisition 11921 Analyst, Engineering Program Management Primary Responsibilities Lead ongoing updates to the business case throughout the program, integrating and interpreting new inputs to guide investment decisions and product evolution. Take full ownership of the overall budgeting process, including the collection, consolidation, monitoring, and strategic control of the Program team’s budget envelopes, while ensuring alignment with organizational financial objectives. Ensure coordination across the company’s various financial management levels to guarantee the consistency and alignment of financial information related to the program.
Define key budget milestones and mobilize cross functional teams to achieve critical program targets, ensuring proactive coordination and effective priority management. Oversee budget governance by establishing, tracking, and interpreting performance criteria (KPIs, variances, risks, and opportunities) to ensure strong financial visibility and support strategic trade off decisions. Present in depth financial analyses and provide well founded budgetary recommendations to leadership teams, directly influencing executive level decision making.
Identify, consolidate, analyze, and manage financial risks and opportunities, while playing a driving role in shaping strategic direction to optimize overall program performance. Oversee the management of a significant volume of financial data, ensuring the rigor, quality, reliability, and relevance of information used for program steering. Contribute actively to the design, enhancement, and implementation of advanced management tools, including financial models, analytical tools, and planning platforms that strengthen the program’s financial maturity.
Operate within a high level multifunctional environment, interacting with senior leadership and diverse teams, while playing a key influence role in ensuring strategic alignment across all functions involved in the program. Qualifications University degree in business administration, finance, engineering or an equivalent. Minimum of five (5) to ten (10) years of pertinent experience.
Initiative, results-oriented mindset, and desire to contribute to Bombardier’s program management office. Strong financial management, analytical, planning and problem‑solving skills. Experience with complex products in a production environment a plus.
Organized, autonomous person with leadership skills. Excellent communication skills (written and spoken) and ability to influence at different levels of the organization. Mastery of MS Office, Teams, Excel and Powerpoint with knowledge in database management.
Experience using and understanding ERP systems such as SAP an asset. Bilingual and demonstrate good communication skills.
