Job Description
Position Summary We are seeking a highly organized, analytical, and collaborative Accounting Specialist to support our growing sales organization and working remotely during the eastern US time zone. This role is pivotal in enabling the sales team to close deals efficiently while maintaining operational excellence and ensuring compliance with internal policies and margin goals. The Deal Desk Specialist will partner with Sales, Legal, Finance, and Product teams to structure deals, manage approvals, and streamline the quote-to-close process.
This role requires a strong understanding of pricing, discounting, contract terms, and deal governance best practices. Key Responsibilities Deal Structuring & Support: Collaborate with Account Executives to structure strategic and complex deals that meet customer needs while aligning with company goals. Quote-to-Close Process Management: Manage the end-to-end deal process, ensuring accuracy and timeliness in quoting, pricing, discounting, contract review, and approvals.
Pricing & Discounting Governance: Apply and enforce pricing policies, discount thresholds, and margin targets to ensure deal profitability and compliance. Cross-functional Collaboration: Partner with Legal, Finance, and Product teams to navigate contract terms, non-standard deal requests, and approval processes. Process Optimization: Identify and drive improvements to the deal desk workflow to increase efficiency and scalability as the company grows.
Reporting & Insights: Provide regular reporting and insights to Sales leadership on deal trends, approval bottlenecks, and opportunities for process improvements. Training & Enablement: Educate the Sales team on deal desk processes, pricing guidelines, and best practices to improve deal velocity and quality. Qualifications 3+ years of experience in Deal Desk, Sales Operations, Revenue Operations, or a related field in a B2B SaaS or technology company.
Strong understanding of sales processes, pricing models, and contract negotiation. Experience with CRM and CPQ systems (Salesforce, Hubspot, DealHub, etc.). Excellent organizational skills with a keen attention to detail and accuracy.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Effective communicator with the ability to collaborate cross-functionally and influence stakeholders. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with evolving priorities.
Preferred Qualifications Experience in cybersecurity, SaaS, or enterprise technology markets. Familiarity with complex deal structures, including multi-year, subscription-based, and consumption-based models. Experience supporting sales teams that sell to mid-market and enterprise customers
