Robert Half is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Accounting Manager to join our team on a contract basis. The successful candidate will be based in Trenton, NJ and will have the opportunity to work in a fully onsite environment. As an Accounting Manager, you will play a crucial role in our finance team, leveraging your advanced Excel skills and expertise in ERP systems to ensure accurate financial reporting and compliance.
This role is onsite 5 days a week in Trenton, NJ and is a contract to hire option. Residents of Mercer County are strongly preferred. Key Responsibilities: Perform month-end and year-end closing activities, including preparation of financial statements.
Reconcile and analyze general ledger accounts to ensure accuracy and completeness. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather financial data and support decision-making processes. Utilize advanced Excel skills to develop and maintain financial models and reports.
Ensure compliance with accounting standards, company policies, and relevant regulations. Assist in the implementation and optimization of ERP systems. Provide support during internal and external audits.
Analyze and interpret financial data to provide insights for management decision-making. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. CPA certification is highly preferred.
Proven experience as an Accounting Manager or similar role. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel is a must. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
