About the Opportunity A private equity–backed, rapidly growing organization with operations across multiple locations is seeking an Accounting Manager to support and scale its corporate accounting function. The company is well-capitalized, actively expanding through organic growth and acquisitions, and invests heavily in its finance and accounting team.

Role Overview The Accounting Manager will play a key role in overseeing day-to-day accounting operations across multiple entities, supporting timely and accurate close processes, and strengthening internal controls. This position works closely with senior leadership and offers high visibility within a PE-sponsored organization. The role blends hands-on accounting with process improvement and leadership , making it well-suited for professionals ready to step into broader responsibility.

Key Responsibilities Manage month-end and year-end close processes for multiple entities Review journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial statements for accuracy and completeness Oversee general ledger activity and ensure compliance with U.S. GAAP Support multi-entity and multi-site accounting operations, including intercompany activity Assist with audits, due diligence, and private equity reporting requirements Maintain and strengthen internal controls, policies, and accounting procedures Partner with FP&A, operations, and leadership to support financial insights Identify and implement process improvements to support scale and efficiency Support ERP and system enhancements as the business grows What Success Looks Like On-time, accurate closes across all locations and entities Improved consistency and standardization across accounting processes Audit-ready financials and clean support schedules Effective collaboration with leadership and cross-functional partners Scalable accounting infrastructure that supports continued growth Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required CPA strongly preferred 5+ years of accounting experience (public accounting and/or complex corporate environment) Experience supporting multi-entity or multi-location organizations Strong working knowledge of U.S. GAAP and internal controls Advanced Excel skills and comfort working in ERP systems Experience in PE-backed, high-growth, or acquisitive environments is strongly preferred Detail-oriented with the ability to manage competing priorities Strong communicator comfortable working with senior leadership Why This Role Exposure to private equity ownership and strategic growth initiatives Opportunity to help build and scale accounting infrastructure High visibility role with leadership interaction Career advancement potential as the organization continues to grow Compensation & Benefits Competitive base salary + bonus potential 401(k) with company match Health, dental, and vision insurance Paid time off and holidays
